For any organization, protecting the data entrusted to them should be a top priority, especially as companies around the world gear up for the new data protection standards required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The goal of the GDPR, which goes into effect on May 25, 2018, is to give EU citizens greater control of their own personal data.
But what does the GDPR actually entail? We built a free, online game based on the game show Jeopardy! to help inform you and your colleagues and employees about the GDPR and the requirements it brings.
How It Works
Hands on buzzers, contestants! Test your knowledge by selecting questions from the game board. Use the power-ups to increase your score. Keep an eye on your competition—wrong answers will detract from your score, and if you get FIVE questions wrong, you may be in jeopardy. The game is internet-browser based and completely free to share with your friends and coworkers.
Sample questions include:
- What is the purpose of the GDPR?
- Who is responsible for following policies related to the collection and processing of personal data?
- Who do the GDPR data protection requirements apply to?
